Associate Professor Sumita Pathak, Principal of JF Institute of Health Sciences, brings over three decades of distinguished experience in the field of nursing. Over the course of her accomplished career, she has served in a wide range of capacities, including advisor, principal, head of department, coordinator, nursing educator, and clinical nurse at phect-Nepal. She has consistently worked toward professional development, demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing the nursing profession. Currently, she serves as a board member of the Nepal Nursing Council, where she plays a pivotal role in shaping policies, guiding standards, and promoting excellence in nursing across the country. Her academic journey commenced with the completion of her SLC from Jana Bikash High School, Rajhaghara, Darcha, Rampur, Palpa, in 1993. She pursued her PCL in Nursing in Pokhara in 1995, followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health Nursing in 2002. In 2013, she earned a Master’s degree in Child Health Nursing from Tribhuvan University, Maharajgunj Nursing Campus. Further enriching her academic profile, she also completed a Master’s degree in Sociology from Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University. Mrs. Pathak is a prolific author who has made significant contributions to nursing education through several notable publications, including A Textbook of the Foundation of Nursing, Leadership and Management for Nursing, Educational Science, and Behavioral Science. In addition, she has authored numerous professional and original research articles. She has actively engaged in a wide set of trainings, seminars, and workshops, and has led training initiatives for various projects. Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, she has volunteered with multiple organizations across Nepal. Mr. Dev Raj Ghimire, Chief Administrator of LACHS/JF Institute of Health Sciences has a Master’s degree in Sociology and Nepali Literature and 25 years of experience in the academic field. He has been associated with the LA Group in different positions for an extensive period. He has travelled widely and has participated in various national and international workshops, trainings and seminars.
Bhuvan Saud is an Associate Professor and Assistant Campus Chief at JFIHS. He joined the institution in June 2014 as a full-time faculty member. In addition, he serves as the Program Coordinator in Department of Medical Laboratory Technology. He holds a B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology and an M.Sc. in Medical Technology (Virology). He has published more than 47scientific papers in national and international journals, including Lancet, Wiley, Oxford University Press, Hindawi, Taylor & Francis, Elsevier, Germs, JNHRC, Frontiers, and the Microbiology Society with more than 722 citations with an h-index of 10. I am Professor Phoolgen Sah, currently serving as the Coordinator in the Department of Pharmacy at JFIHS. I am a registered pharmacist with the Nepal Pharmacy Council, Registration Number G-379. I completed a Master's in Pharmacy with a specialization in Pharmaceutical Care and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Pharmacy. I have been working as an academician since 2006. Additionally, I have gained experience in various pharmaceutical industries in Nepal. With the aim of achieving both personal and professional growth, I have published over 17 articles in well-indexed journals. I am also a member of the Nepal Pharmaceutical Association and the Graduate Pharmacist Association of Nepal.
Mr. Govinda Paudel is a dynamic Associate Professor with over 13 years of diverse experiencein academia and medical laboratory sciences, including roles as a Medical Technologist and Medical Microbiologist. Mr. Vikram Shrestha serves as an Associate Professor of Clinical Biochemistry at the JanamaitriFoundation Institute of Health Sciences, located in Lalitpur, Nepal. With over a decade of dedicatedinvolvement in the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology, he possesses extensive academic and research expertise in areas such as molecular biochemistry, oxidative stress and free radicals, inbornmetabolic disorders, and clinical diagnostics. I am Rachana Sharma and I have been working as an Assistant Professor at Janamaitri Foundation Institute of Health Sciences since 2023. I hold a Master of Pharmacy degree with a specialization in Industrial Pharmacy (2022). I achieved 1st rank in M.Pharm from Kathmandu University and have contributed to various research projects, including a TWAS-funded project.
